Bat shaped seed pod - large and black

    Any ideas of what the seed pod is?

    Its approx. 5 inches long - shaped like a bat (strange) and black....

    I have looked all over the internet trying to figure it out...

    maybe its from the Brazilian rainforest? South Africa? Austrailia?
