thorny tree in Baltimore

    My husband encountered this unfriendly looking tree with thorns and green bark while performing a bridge inspection in Baltimore. He asked me to identify it and I have not found anything on it. Ideas? Photo attached. {Accidentally posted on indoor plant thread-Sorry!}

    Looks like Poncirus trifoliata, Trifoliate Orange.
