My new ponytail plant is only about 2 ft tall and I just want to know if it is ok to let it stay in the sun, as it is only in the sun about 3 to 4 hrs a day. I just put in outside since it is summer here in Kentucky. My other ponytail is inside and too heavy to move outside, but it has large sprouts (2) on the side of the stalk, and I wanted to know if that is healthy or is it a sucker? Thks for any help.

You can put your ponytail in full sun. All mine are, but if yours are only getting 4 hours of sun, I would do it gradually, giving it slightly longer in the sun each day. They naturally have new growth coming up from the base of the plant.
