As a boy gowing up in rural saanichton on vancouver island, we had a Italian prune plum tree, I have never seen another since,allso a King apple tree, which I think might be exstinct???? Has anyone ever heard of this apple tree, I get a weird look from the gardening centers when I ask for it. I think I read somewhere that the plum tree is still available, any info would be helpfull,thanks.
I have seen King apple available at nurseries in Langley over the last few years. Italian prune plum is one of the most common plum trees around.
