As a boy gowing up in rural saanichton on vancouver island, we had a Italian prune
plum tree, I have never seen another since, allso a King apple tree, which I think might
be exstinct???? Has anyone ever heard of this apple tree, I get a weird look from the
gardening centers when I ask for it. I think I read somewhere that the plum tree is still available, any info would be helpfull, thanks.

I have seen King apple available at nurseries in Langley over the last few years. Italian prune plum is one of the most common plum trees around.

    'King' is not rare either.
