Hello fellow UBC forum members! I was hoping someone might recognize a shrub my wife and I want to plant around our new home. I don’t believe it to be boxwood, it has tiny leaves and a pleasant aroma. Attached please find two photos of said plant. Any assistance you might provide is greatly appreciated.

More likely a small-leaved cultivar of Myrtus communis (common myrtle). Boxwoods are not so fine textured (although a close-up of the leaves and leaf arrangement would be helpful) and most people find the aroma of particularly Buxus sempervirens (common box) somewhat off-putting.

Might be in stock at nearby outlets. Snip a piece and take it with you, to see what looks like it.
