Was so sure this would be an Acacia, but then it bloomed - unable to match to any plant listed for the specific grid and those surrounding this graceful tree. Any ideas greatly appreciated.

Tony R - if you're out there - the fruits of the Polyscias sambucifolia are lavender, so I'm gong with P. s. subsp. leptophylla. Your thoughts?
No, it's subsp. decomposita. The leaves are bipinnate, as can be seen in your earlier pictures. In my experience fruit colour is much the same in all 3 subspp. I am not sure, by the way, whether these subspecies names have been formally published yet, but know they have been "in the pipeline" for years.
