identification

    Hello everyone,

    Here's a new plant I found growing in cape verde during the rainy season. It's an annual. Have been trying to identify it since October 2013 but no luck yet. Hope one of you have a clue of what it is.

    Might be a Hibiscus. H. cannabinus has similar leaves.

    Thanks for replying tipularia. The thing is I never saw the flowers opening more than this but I checked H.cannabinus flowers they are typical malvacae with open flowers.
