I've seen these in the US, but I just pulled them out hand over fist...what might it be and does it flower? I've never seen anything on them but foliage. Here in Kaiserslautern, I've only been since July, so I'm trying to decide if I let them be till Spring, or start yanking...they don't appear to be hyacinth, narcissus, or anything along those lines.

Muscari armeniacum? I would definitely wait till spring before getting rid of these.

they need to mature before they will flower. You can probably yank them out any time - if they are volunteers be sure to remove the bulbs and the foliage.
