Page on the BBC highlights research which seems to support the importance of bees having access to a variety of plants. The theory of "doctor bees" which direct their peers to plants which can help "ill bees" to recover may further show their organisational and social skills. For my part I am going to plant even more for the insects as well as myself!

Specially selected honey is once more being used by some medical professionals to fight infection in wounds. A re-visitation of a resource noted in medieval times!
