Michael F has stepped forward and offered to moderate the Gymnosperms area of the forums, and given that this is one of the areas that is both an institutional priority (we have and continue to develop a Conifer collection here at UBC) and it ranked highly based on forum member feedback, I've reopened the area.

    This reopens:

General Gymnosperms Discussion (Conifers and relatives)
    Gymnosperms Photo Gallery
    Gymnosperm Resources on the Web
Araucariaceae (monkey puzzles, Wollemi pines, etc.)

Excellent! I hope the arrangement works as a model to open other areas as well. :)
