NYC botanical Gardens

    Hi everyone. I put these in the wrong thread yesterday, so I thought Id repost them here. I love looking at everyone's photo's!

    These were taken in the NYC botanical gardens.

    Very lovely, especialy the water lilies. Hope you have more pictures of the garden.

    Was it the same place that had an Amorphophallus flowering?
    I was reading about it in the globe, the guy made it seem like the thing flowers ever 64 years. I have one at work flowers every year if I'm unlucky I'm there when it flowers.
    Lovely pictures by the way. Beautiful lilies.

    Thanks for the comments. I do have more pictures...Ill get around to posting them some day. This is my break from work :) and thats all I had saved online.

    Carol, Im not sure. I hadnt heard anything about that.

    Those are really nice pictures! Did you catch the Chihuly exhibition?

    When were you there. We were there 17-27 August. Boy, were we lucky with the weather - just after the temperatures have cooled to the mid to high twenties, and humidity has gone down. It rained the day we left, and I gather, from the postponed games at the US Open tennis, that it rained for a few days after that.

    I really wanted to go the the Brooklyn Botanic Gardens, as I wanted to visit the Cranford Rose garden. But New York City being what it is has so much going on that I did not have a chance to do so. I will leave it for the next trip.
