I have a piece of Arbutus Branch from Saltspring Island, which my son wants to put into a terrarium with his Leopard Gecko? Is this safe for the lizard? What kinds of wood are non-toxic? Thanks in advance. Alan Wallis

Don't know much about lizards, but arbutus wood is a favourite for bird cages and I have some kitchen utensils made from it.

I know there was a post about wood for bird cages on the forums, but I cannot seem to locate it.

The only list I could find on the web was this:
    http://s7.invisionfree.com/Chinwags/ar/t419.htm
(from a forums for chichilla owners)

Can't vouch for the accurracy of the list, but it is a place to start.
