    Hi,
I have been asked by friends to help identify this plant. It's growing in Bellingen,
on the east coast of Australia.
The fruit taste ok, something like a blackberry/raspberry cross.

    Cheers,
    David

Hi David, I have no idea, what kind of brambles or raspberries there are in Eastern Australia. But could this be Rubus niveus (just as a wild guess)?

The rose-like leaf outline should narrow it down quite a bit.

Thanks a lot for everyone's help. It does resemble Rubus nivea.
