I purchased seeds for a Mimosa Acacia Bonsai Tree (Dealbata silver wattle) about six months ago. Did everything right, took about 5 months for seeds to sprout. Until about 2 days ago I had a 3-inch high stem with 3 branchs and about 15-20 little tiny leaves of different sizes depending on the branch they're on. Tree was green, sat up straight, perfect.

Then two days ago it started turning yellow. And now today it has really shriveled up with some of the smaller leaves turned brown.

    What happened? Please help?

It is in a little clay pot about 3 inches wide and I've been keeping a large plastic cup over it as a green house. Past two days have been in the 80's- hottest yet of the year here where I live. I've not moved plant downstair where it is cooler but can still get plenty of sunlight.

Did I simply cook my plant? Should i treat it by watering it (soil is somewhat moist already though). Any quick fix?

    Thanks!

You cooked it. Take the plastic cup off and let it dry out.
