I got a spider plant clipping last December, and it didn't really start growing much until we hit warm weather in the Spring, around May/June. It's gotten pretty big, but it still hasn't sprouted any shoots to form spider babies. Does anyone know when this will happen or why it hasn't? Thanks!!

i think they need to grow/mature for a bit before they put out offshoots. they like to be rootbound - that helps with causing blooms to develop (and the offshoots form from the flowers)
