An interesting contaminant has appeared in one of my mushroom cultures.

It is powder orange, kind of granular, and very fast growing.

It covered the petri dish in about three days, and began trying to "crawl out" over the edge.

I've never seen a slime mould before, but does this fit the bill ?

Does anyone recognise it by it's colour ?

    thx
