lemon tree - arizona

  1. What kind of a lemon tree should I plant in southern arizona ?

    Your climate will support any of the true lemons (Eureka, Lisbon, Etc...) as well as the hybrids such as Ponderosa or Meyer.

    Eureka and Lisbon are the common lemons sold in most stores. Lazz is probably correct about your area being able to grow both of these varieties. If you live in an area that has a history of late freezes beware. Harvey lemon trees may be your best bet. They are specially bread to handle colder temperatures. When cared for properly you will be able to enjoy lemons year round. - Millet
