    Hi,
These pretty purple flowers sprouted up between my landscaping rocks, lat Feb or Early March. There are only 3 little patches & I think they are already dying. I don't know if they are some type of weed, ground cover, or what. But I really love them & would like to plant a whole bunch in a 4ft x 2ft section.
Any help would be greatly appreciated, as I would hate to have them disappear w/o knowing what they are.

Sweet Alyssum. It is an annual and probably will seed itself again in your rocks but it is easy to find seeds of it if you want to plant more. I don't know about where you live but here you can buy it in the spring as small bedding plants too.
