I saw something very curious today. I saw what looked very much like tent caterpillar on some cedar shrubs. Is that possible? I was under the impression that tent caterpillar specialized on members of the Rosaceae family (cherry, apple, etc.) Does anyone have an idea of what it might be.
    Thnx

While TCs in cedar are new to me I was surprised to have found them for a few years running in our firs in Nanaimo. I was told that, while they prefer deciduous hosts, if things are lean they'll take what they can get. Looking forward to hearing the outcome - Good Luck!
