This flower is something I've never seen before, and I'm having troubles finding it online. The stamen (I think, I'm rusty on plant parts) is black until it seemingly matures, turning a deep, vibrant purple. It is star-shaped. The trees can be quite tall, one of them appeared to be about 40 feet high.

May we have a triptik of the tree, leaf, branch?
