So I've been having a hard time finding out what sort of flower is growing in my yard. It wasn't planted by anyone, just showed up one day. It starting blooming mid March and is still going. It is a single stem coming out of the ground, I couldn't find any leaves belonging to it. It's a mid to dark purple flower, 6 petals and the stem has tiny hairs on it. Any help would be appreciated!

Anemone coronaria - I've been enjoying a pot full of about a dozen of these blossoming at once on my balcony garden.
