a type of celery plant?

    I just got this from a garden center and wondering what this is.

    triple compound leaves
    buds are wrapped inside
    purple-ish new buds and stem...
    mm... that's all I can think of...

    Rheum?? That would be more of a type of rhubarb.

    The leaf bud kind of looks like that, but it is single stem instead of multi and it is not basally arranged.... the leaf is more soft and not leathery. It actually is compound leaf in set of 3 instead of simple....

    :-( but the bud does kind of looks like it.

    Also leaves are deeply lobed with serrated margin
