Is this berry edible? What kind is it? Growing in my back yard in Colorado USA

    Pics are too small to tell for sure, but possibly Choke Cherry Prunus virginiana. If that's what it is, then yes, edible, but best cooked (e.g. cherry pie, or jam) before eating.
