hummingbird flower

    Can anyone identify the flower in this hummingbird photo. Cultivated, purple tubular flowers

    Looks like Plectranthus 'Mona Lavender' a garden hybrid of South African parentage. I guess this would be a newly discovered nectar source for the hummingbirds. Here in Australia it works the other way, with hummingbird flowers from Central and South America attracting our native honey-eaters, who can only hover briefly and rather clumsily.
