I have not had any luck trying to identify on my own, so I thought I would put it to the forum. This tree is on my lot in Mississippi. The trunk is about 10 inches in diameter, and the tree is about 30 feet tall. I have never seen any flowers or fruit on the tree in my 14 years here. In the spring the leaves are a golden-yellow, the summer color is green/light green underside (photo), and in fall the leaves are yellow.

    Thank you!

*edit* I looked up information on black cherry, and everything looks right. I have seen photos of smaller trees with flowers/fruits, but this one has never flowered. Is it possible that it is sterile?
