I purchased this plant, understanding it to be a kniphofia, or red hot poker. It did not flower this year and the growth habit is very different from any of my other red hot pokers. Can anyone tell me what it is? It currently stands at about 30 inches tall.

    Cheers

    Probably Kniphofia caulescens.
