In The Garden: Please ID this plant

    Growing in Vacant yard. Believe it is perennial don't have anymore on it.

    The flower looks like Scabiosa columbaria. A better picture of the leaves could be useful.

    Definitely Scabiosa - the leaves might suggest Scabiosa caucasica, as it doesn't seem to show the divided leaves of S. columbaria. Common perennial here and not surprising that it survives lack of care.
