Help Identifying Plants in Southern Ontario

    I found these plants coming up in my veggie garden (South Ajax On). Nothing that I planted. Can you please help me identify?

    Wow! I think you are right! I grabbed a leaf from my lawn, and another from my garden bed, look at the size difference :)

    I think I can make out some fine hairs on the leaves of the clover in the first shot, so going by that and the size of the leaves it may be Red Clover (Trifolium pretense - http://www.botanicalstockphotos.com/img9451.htm ) rather than Trifolium repens. The other plant could be any one of many things. It looks like it could be some type of legume, such as Chamaecytisus, but its pretty hard to tell at that size from just one small photo.
