ornamental grasses

    I purchased a beautiful chrysanthemum with a tall grass in the center . the grass is tall with soft little plumes on the end . what is this grass called and can I leave it in a tub all winter.what care does it need ? this site is just the best .thank you

    Does it have purple leaves?

    Thank you Ron Yes it has purple leaves and grass looks purple . You will have to excuse me I'm new at this site .But I think it's just great. ty ellen

    Two such kinds are used in seasonal planters here, neither suitable for overwintering. You would be best to just plan on buying replacement plants each year.
