Hiya, A few months ago I went into our local Wal*mart and saw this poor little cactus with probably a teaspoon of soil in a tiny clay pot with broken needles, etc. So, I paid five bucks for it and brought it home. Since I've had it it's probably doubled in size, regrown new needles and is pretty darn healthy. I thought it *could* be a baby saguaro, but I'm not that good at IDing cacti, so I'd like to make sure what it is. Could somebody possible ID it for me?
Joe, I looked up Cereus Repandus and I think it could be a possibility. Anybody have any other ideas? Thanks! Lakota
I believe it is Pilosocereus pachycladus. (syn. P. azureus) http://images.google.com/images?client=firefox-a&rls=org.mozilla%3Aen-US%3Aofficial_s&q=Pilosocereus+pachycladus&hl=en&btnG=Search+Images
