    It's clearly someting in the Aloe-Gasteria-Haworthia group. Maybe an Astroloba sp.

    leaf arrangements are: Haworthia tend to be spiral, Gasteria 2-ranked opposite, and Aloe a less strict form of opposite. I now think this looks most like Aloe. But, truly, there are a pile of cvs and hybrids out there.
    (this is also to say that I now disagree with my first suggestion above.)
