The photos you posted are much too small for identification, especially since the leaves are in a very bad condition from what seems, at first sight, the result of over-watering.

Try to post better photos, that would help...

Yes, I think it's a Chinese privet, Ligustrum sinensis.

I'm not familiar with privet, but you can find some info there :
    http://www.bonsai-bci.com/species/ligustrum.html

For more personalized info, I would suggest you join a bonsai forum such as IBC (http://ibonsaiclub.forumotion.com/forum.htm) or BonsaiChat (http://www.bonsaichat.net/forums.php)

There are many very competent people who live in Britain on IBC, you might even find someone living close to your place for specific advice.

But as I said before, I'm pretty sure the problem is over-watering, causing roots to "choke" and then rot.

Can't be Ligustrum which has opposite leaves with entire margins.
This tree has alternately arranged serrated leaves.

Thanks all , im pretty sure that it is a Chinese Sweet Plum as skunkyjoe said ! If the roots have rotted does that mean it will ever recover?
Once again thanks for you cooperation :) i can now aim to resurect my Chinese Sweet Plum Bonsai :)

Re: Help identifying my poor Bonsai tree **UPDATE**

I had a Chinese Bird Plum bonsai , it flowered and fruited regularly . It was mostly grown inside , under lights . I remember that it required a fair bit of watering and humidity, to keep it happy . I think Owens tree may have dried out ?
