Apparently Isaria fumosorosea (Paecilomyces fumosoroseus) is found in nature attacking the Asian citrus psyllid, and is now being used as a biocontrol agent. I don't know specific (macro) visual characters of this fungus, if there are any that would narrow down the ID, but here seems to be a possibility. The bug eaters, the entomopathogenic fungi, are often fairly host-specific, so narrowing down the fungi known to live on this critter will help. And I have a more general question: Can anyone tell me if the genus name Isaria is reserved for anamorphs? cheers, -frog
