One day a couple of years ago, I was headed to the home depot garden department, saw this amazing small tree like plant...tiny 5 petal purple flowers, tiny orange 'berries" tiny green leaves, with hair-like sprouts all over between the leaves.

There were 10 of them... the truck had just dropped them off, every female there DASHED to get one. One horrible woman grabbed 6 at once. the other four were split 3 ways.... they sold so fast, home depot had no idea what they were, or what to charge for them.... we ended up paying 12 bucks each. I lost mine when I moved. Can anyone help me to identify these??? I have photos.. is there any place to post one?

    thanks!

Without a pic I would venture a guess at a Duranta of some sort.

But that's just a shot in the dark without a picture.
