While walking, I saw a beautiful very tall (5-foot'ish) flower stalk with long, feathery WHITE flowers (about 10" or more long for each spike)....the leaves were low-growing and reminded me of astilbe, but I don't think astilbe gets anywhere that tall? I wondered about its being 'goatsbeard' but I'm not sure of that either. I'd appreciate any help so that I can get one for myself.

Leaves shown BEHIND the CLOSE-UP (middle photo) of the flower stalk are not of this plant--they are in the background only. The plant's leaves are shown in photo #3

    :) - Many thanks!

Thanks........that's it, I'm sure. I'd have looked forever without you. Now where to find the 'green-leafed' variety--not the chocolate.

    Re: ND Perennial

You are a whiz....thanks once more. I really didn't mean for you to find it for me, but I'm happy just the same.

    :)
