    This poor photo was sent from Hungary for identification. 26 July 2015

    Is it a privet bush? I wanted to say a cherry laurel but the berries seem blue

    Bottom leaves on left side look like Mahonia sp.
    Do please ask for clear pics.

    A quite tall Mahonia aquifolium, I would say. Other species are rarely (if ever) planted over here.

    Notice that it being tall Oregon grape (which gets much taller than the example shown, hence the name) it produces divided leaves which immediately rule out Ligustrum and Prunus.
