i have a five year old eleven foot tall himalayan cedar. i have had to stake it for about two years. it is staked so that the tree is not hindered from growth, only to help during high winds. can someone tell me if i will have to keep it like that forever and also how do you prune a himalayan cedar without harm to the tree thank you tony
You shouldn't have to ever prune the tree. Stake the tree for one year to allow the plant to establish its root system and then remove the stake. If the tree is "floppy", it's possible that the tree is not receiving enough light. Mike
