I purchased this (not sure what it is) 3 months ago in a plant sale. It was very lively until a few weeks ago. One group of leaves started to wilt. I picked them off and it has been doing fine. Then it quickly took a turn. The last few days it looks terrible and is fading fast. Very wilted! I may have under or overwatered it or it may be the dry, cool conditions it is in. I live in Southern Ontario so it is dry and slightly cold right now. It sits about 2, 2.5 feet from a large window facing NE (not a lot of sun). It's not on a proper watering schedule; I've been eyeballing as I don't know what it is or how to properly water it.

Does anyone know what plant this is?
How do I attempt to restore its health? (Having doubts about that)

Pics: It is VERY wilted. It looked spunkier before. Like a miniature palm or deciduous tree. It looks more like a weeping willow now.

    Thanks in advance!

A variegated Dizygotheca elegantissima (which is actually Schefflera elegantissima but better known by its old name)?
