two wildflowers from Brazil for ID please

    Hello,

    This is my first post over here! I'm very glad I found this site! :)

    I hope someone can help me to identify the following plants I met during a trip to Brazil in Jan-Febr. 2010
    Both were growing in the wild in a rainforest environment in the region of Paraty..

    The first one looks like belonging to the Fabaceae family, the leaves had a beautiful pale blue-green colour and felt silky to the touch, unfortunately I don't have a picture of an open flower which appears to be yellow..

    I will post the second one in another thread as I cannot add more pictures in this one.
