I have this bush in my yard that turns this really pretty red in the fall. I've noticed others around the area and I was wondering what it is. I'm in Connecticut.

    Winged Spindle Euonymus alatus.

Native to eastern Asia, and listed as an invasive species in your area.

    Thanks!
LOL Invasive species?! I like it, and a lot of people around here have them as bushes in their yards- they trim them in the spring and everything.

Pretty much nobody over here will be calling it winged "spindle".

Oh right, I'm putting in a common name I learned in Wikipedia: Burning bush (so someone searching on that can find it). Also Winged Euonymus.
