Identifying Tomato Varieties

    i'm trying to identify tomato varieties so i don't end up with millions of cherry tomatoes...can you help?

    There are a lot of tomato varieties. I guess your problem is caused by vendors putting too little information on the plant labels. My first recommendation is to ask the people selling the plants. Often sellers are quite knowledgeable.

    Here are a couple of links that have information on tomatoes and list some of the more common varieties available. You can pick the ones that appeal to you and look for those at the store.

    You may also want to look at some seed catalogs (in print or online). Many will have good descriptions and photos of the fruit. (Totally Tomatoes is my personal favourite)
