    Hi,

I live in a old historic section of a city with lots of character. The style of the neighborhood is old Federal style townhomes with sidewalks in front and tree boxes
    3'x 2' for our trees.

My problem is many of the old oaks and ginko trees have died of old age as the ares is over 100yrs old and we need new large fast growing shade trees that do not have extensive root structures that tear up sidewalks and foundations. Im also concerned with soft wood trees that split during storms.

    I would love some reccomendations,

    Thanks,
