cattails

    does anyone know if cattail roots are edible?

    Yes, they most certainly are.

    Note also that the pollen can be a flour supplement. I've tasted it raw - wasn't too impressed.

    yes they are. Beware though. Some places cattails are a protected plant in the wild.

    they tast like crap!!!

    ive tried them and they were horrible!!!
