I have two lemon tree's that are three years old. They are aprox. fifteen ft. tall and healthy, they are not producing any fruit. They are not even blooming. What am I doing wrong?
Howdy d75901, It's hard to say what's wrong with limited information. My guess is you got two plants from seeds. Seedlings grown from seeds have a long juvenile period. Peace Thean
Lemonless Tree d75901...I tend to agree with Thean that your trees if started from seed will take considerably longer to bear fruit. I have several citrus from both grafted and seeded types. What I noticed is that the grafted ones were bearing flowers and fruit when I purchased them at 12~18" tall. The ones I started from seed, 4 years later, still havent produced. Maybe if you pruned them almost severely they may bear. Often a plant threatened with harm will produced fruit, as is their nature, but don't expect fruit until the following year.
