I'm interested in the taller tree in the centre, which has leaves almost as interesting as the Macaranga tanarius in the lower right. This was looking like it might be a little weedy, on the road to Wahiawa Botanical Garden on Oahu, but not part of the garden.

I have an answer on this from the flickr Hawaii Plant ID group. Member Oahu Early Detection identified it as Heliocarpus popayanensis, which seems to be a synonym for H. americanus. Common name white moho. Formerly in the Tiliaceae family, now in Malvaceae.

Invasive.org shows it on the University of Hawaii, Botany Department, Hawaiian Alien Plant Studies, 1998.
