The stalk and gills are quite white, although with some rust like patches sometimes. However, predominantly white moreso than they look in photos.
Taste is mild. Older ones may have a slight fishy odor, so I have also considered shrimp mushroom, but have no background with how fishy they smell.
Plenty in a nearby forest of evergreens (pine, cedar, firs, etc.)

    Closest I have found are:

Russula aeruginea - but my mushrooms have adnexed gills as you should be able to see in the photos, more olive/brown than green. One in the photos is a little more green than the others but not quite as much as it appears in the photo. Darker overall cap.

Russula variata - my mushrooms have adnexed gills and don't fork.

    Russula integra - maybe?

    Thanks for any assistance!

Many Russulas smell fishy with age, so this is not a useful characteristic to use for identification purposes in the absence of other information.
