I found this growing amongst my failed pea and lettuce plants. The pods contain tiny bgreen-bluish seeds. Please help identify
    Thanks terry

Here are photos of seeds within the pod

Could these be lettuce seed pods...?

Lettuce is always referred to as Lactuca sativa, asteraceae, which always surprises me, because some varieties are very much cabbage-like.
As so, these pods cannot be from Lactuca, rather from some Brassica or relatives - notice the characteristic beak of the pod. One thing confuses me though: the seeds in the pod look winged. May be this is just an illusion?

To me the seeds resemble hats with wide brims, as seen from above (first closeup photo).
This may well be an illusion, too!
    How about mustard?

Agree with mustard of some sort or close relative.
