  1. I have a Spathiphyllum sp. (Peace Lily) and the blooms start turning brown before they fully open. What am I doing wrong? Also, some of the leaves get brown on the ends. It is not verigated it is green.

  2. These like moist conditions. Frequent watering is usually required. Brown leaf tips are not unusual with these, if it is caused by low humidity in your case setting the plant on a tray filled with pebbles and water (with the pot base kept above the water) may help. Aborting of the inflorescence I don't know about, when I've grown these I've gotten the brown leaf tips but never had a problem with the flowering. Possibly you should inspect the plant for mites. Otherwise, maybe you have a particular variety that also has the infl. brown off under the same conditions that causes the leaf tips to scorch.
