My Cornus Kousa 'Satomi' is blooming for the second time...in October! I live in Vancouver BC, not too far away from the UBC Botanical Garden. Does anyone else have a Cornus Kousa 'Satomi' in bloom now?

Not entirely unusual - there are a few threads on the forums about reblooming dogwoods, including this one that has a satisfactory explanation of why.

Thanks Daniel - I had just searched for the specific tree, before beginning a new thread...not the early blooming effect. So, the follow-up question is: if this is next year's blooms blooming early, does that mean that next year I will get fewer blooms in June?
