I grew a lemon tree from a seed of a regular store bought lemon. I've had it about a year and it is about 3 ft tall, large green leaves, and thorns. Now, how do you get it to grow lemons? I've had it indoors next to a window the whole time.

    Lemons

This is very common of lemon trees that have been grown from seed. It can take years before you may get some flowers, then lemons. You are better off to get a cutting off a fruit producing tree for instant results.
By the way I have been growing a meyer lemon tree outside for two years in North Vancouver. I have attached a pic of some of the ripe lemons on the tree.

    Cheers

    Hi Counrtry2u2,

What type of lemon, is it in the ground or a pot indoors, do you fertilize?
